The playerbase includes many moderate and heavy spenders, but the main story has seen little to no meaningful progress for a long time despite all that spending. Even so, Love and Deepspace has gone an extended period without advancing the main plot while still benefiting from player spending. The existing male leads still have incomplete card content and battle progression, but rather than finishing those, they spent the resources on introducing a new male lead out of nowhere. How could any paying player be happy with that?
Honestly, my biggest issue now is that this face is supposedly 26 years old. Come on, he's at least 36. Definitely an older-man boyfriend type.
